Our December Gifts To You!

Raindrop pic

For the month of December, we would like to give a gift of health to you. Anyone that books a 60 minute session or more will receive a aromatherapy upgrade. You don’t need to do anything special as we will help you choose the best aromatherapy blend for your session. You may choose a different aromatherapy blend with each session.

For each client this month, we have one special set of gifts for you! It’s a surprise! Hmm, wonder what it could be?

We use Young Living Essential Oils in our sessions to help you achieve the health results you desire. Aromatherapy has been shown to help alleviate stress, breathing and stomach troubles, allergy symptoms, muscular pain and more. During your session, we will take a couple of minutes for you to choose your essential oil(s), use them for the massage and provide you that blend to take home in your own roller bottle.

November’s 10th Anniversary Honorees: Gigi Key and Georgiana Wester

gigi and georgiana cropOne way we’re celebrating is to honor you, our clients. Each month we will highlight a 10th Anniversary Honoree(s); a client of ours that has been integral to our success and that represents and fully supports the fabric of everything we believe.

This month we have two honorees: Gigi and Georgiana Key – a mother and daughter combo! These two very special, beautiful ladies have been with us for over 6 years and value the benefits of health and wellness activities, especially massage therapy. I have had the great fortune of working with them through many life events, namely Georgiana’s two sweet births of baby boys! We love our pre-natal mamas. They are both intelligent and innovative interior designers for Key Architecture in Florence, SC. And cooking aficionados, too. Chicken cordon blue! Mexican Chicken! Bam that, Emeril! I can’t even begin to tell you how many recipes they have shared with me off the top of their heads. Yum!

What’s even more humbling and dear, is there ceaseless love for one another. I have the great fortune of spending time with them individually and they both have an endless respect and heart for each other. I can only hope and pray that I will be so fortunate to have such a relationship with my daughter. I have learned much and am so fortunate to have them as a part of my life. Thanks so much Gigi and Georgiana for all your support, love, and patronage over the years.

Gigi Key wrote to us to say, “Thanks so much for the honor! Sarah is a life saver. She has helped me get through many family and personal events over the years. You will not find a massage therapist as knowledgeable as her. I’m very thankful for her care and love for me.”

Georgiana Wester commented, “Sarah is my massage therapist and a special friend. She is always interested in my life and health. She concentrates on the areas I have trouble with and I always walk away feeling better. She is very professional and I always look forward to my visits with her because I love the deep tissue massages and a time of just relaxing.”

Thanks so much to The Earring Lady for contributing to our honorees this month.

Be Blessed! Sarah

October’s 10th Anniversary Honoree: Melissa Brock

One way wbrock crope’re celebrating is to honor you, our clients. Each month we will highlight a 10th Anniversary Honoree(s); a client of ours that has been integral to our success and that represents and fully supports the fabric of everything we believe.

I am really excited to honor this very special, sweet woman this month. Melissa Brock knew me before the business was even a thought and has still hung by after all these years. In fact, she hung the shower curtain in the Florence office and picked out the whole decor. Her input, direction and encouragement was vital in the start up, transitioning to an office,  and now is vital as we grow the business even bigger. She is able and willing to help out at any time and truly values the work and services we offer. It is time to shine a lot of light on this behind the scenes, lifeblood woman and honor her with our words, love, and gifts. Thank you so much Melissa for all you have done and will continue to do! We are beyond blessed.

Melissa is the proud wife of Chris and they have been married for 21 years.  She has three precious daughters: Katy, Emily and Morgan.  Melissa works part-time as a physical therapist assistant at McLeod Outpatient and Sports Medicine.  She is a member of Trinity EPC and volunteers with Royall Elementary and at The Kings Academy.  Melissa enjoys Zumba, running and her group of FiA ladies. Melissa says, “I am so proud of Sarah and all she has accomplished with The Body Works! I frequently recommend her services to my patients and friends.  Sarah and her staff are totally devoted to helping others and sharing their knowledge of holistic healthcare with their clients.  Congratulations on 10 great years!”

In honor Al Borum, Melissa’s father who lost his battle to cancer in 2012, we will donate proceeds from each October massaowenge session and receive donations for Team Owen Plasman! Owen Plasman was diagnosed in early 2013 with Osteosarcoma, a form of bone cancer. He’s such a precious and handsome little guy with an amazing family! His cancer is back and close to his heart and will need surgery as soon as possible. So join Team Owen with us by keeping this family in your prayers, visiting their website and helping us raise money so they can fight cancer!

Take a moment to view her You Tube debut in The Body Works! video!

Thanks to The Earring Lady for their contribution to our 10th Anniversary celebrations!
