June’s Honoree: Kris Crawford

One way we’re celebrating is to honor you, our clients. Each month we will highlight a 10th Anniversary Honoree(s); a client of ours that has been integral to our success and that represents and fully supports the fabric of everything we believe.

krisThis June, we would like to honor Kris Crawford, MD, for his support of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, LLC. He values therapeutic massage so much that he encourages appointments for his whole family! He has been an asset to our business and our therapists. Thank you so much for the many years of patronage.

We commend him on his healthcare and political careers as well. He graduated from the Citadel and MUSC and now works as the Emergency Medical Director at McLeod Medical Center in Dillon, SC. He is also a former member of the SC House of Representatives.

In his spare time, he enjoys exercise and comradery at Competitive Edge Combat Sports where his two daughters participate and compete alongside of him. He enjoys all water sports like scuba diving, rafting, fishing and more.

Free Aromatherapy Upgrade for February!

2015-02-02 09.54.12All therapeutic massage sessions come with a free aromatherapy upgrade of this month’s blend: Ylang-Ylang and Orange. Together these two provide a soothing combination perfect for all the romance that February may bring! Choose to take home a bottle of the blend and use at your leisure for only $6. Just let your therapist know before your session if you would like to use it.

Ylang Ylang Essential OilYlang ylang (Cananga odorata) has a sweet, soft, flowery fragrance that has made it a romantic favorite. In Indonesia, the petals are often strewn across a marriage bed. This calming oil is effective in bringing about a sense of relaxation, and it may help with releasing feelings of anger, tension, and nervous irritability. It has a long history in skin and hair care products, particularly in Asia, where it is used to promote luxuriant hair.

Orange Essential OilOrange (Citrus sinensis) essential oil has a rich, fruity scent that lifts the spirit while providing a calming influence on the body. Orange brings peace and happiness to the mind. It is rich in the powerful antioxidant d-limonene and aids in maintaining normal cellular regeneration. Orange may also be used to enhance the flavor of food and water.
